Ethan Loch was born in 2004 and diagnosed completely blind since birth. As a toddler he would explore the piano for hours. His formal piano lessons began at age of 4 with his mother, and now with Fali Pavri at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. 

He has won numerous piano competitions and in September 2022 he won the keyboard Category Final of the BBC Young Musician competition at the age of 17. He went on to secure a place in the Grand Final at Bridgewater Hall, where he performed Chopin’s Piano Concerto no. 2 with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Mark Wigglesworth.

Cowal Music Club are pleased to announce that Ethan has been booked to play at Dunoon Burgh Hall on 14th May 2023.  A concert not to be missed.
