VITALY PISARENKO
In April 2008, Vitaly Pisarenko (born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1987) won First Prize at the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht. Vitaly had his first piano recital at the age of 6 and studied at music Schools in Kiev, The Central Music School in Moscow (1999-2005), the State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (2005-2010) with a postgraduate course from 2010 to 2013. Since 2012, Vitaly has studied at the Royal College of Music.
Vitaly has given concerts all over the world and on 8 December 2019 he gave a vibrant and skillful recital at Dunoon Burgh Hall in the first such piano event at the Cowal Music Club for many years.
The programme comprised Beethoven Sonatas Op.2 No.1 and Op.31 No.2 plus Chopin Polonaises Op.26 Nos. 1 and 2, Chopin Ballade Op.47 No.2, Bartok's Suite Op.14 and Agnosti's piano transcription of Stravinsky's Firebird.
